A little dove was flying,
like a white speck in the blue sky,
my thoughts took wings as I looked at it,
and they soared high and high..

They flew up the hills,
they flew down the dales,
they flew through the mists,
they flew through the gales..

They swayed in the desserts,
they swirled in the seas,
they passed over garden,
full of honeysuckles and bees..

They travelled round the alleys,
on the roads of cobblestone,
they swaggered through the lanes,
which were winding and forlorn..

They longed to reach your heart,
where they can forever stay,
Just in case, if they get lost,
Will you show them the way?
