Inextricable Ties Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

We are bound up together closely
like the stars and sky, the planets in their system,
the earth and the things on it, the nature and beauty,
the honest man and duty, the innocent girl and chastity,
the chasmine and its scent, the mango and its taste.....
It's a strong knot that can't be untied
and a firm bond that is inextricable,
by the warfare of any Super Power
or by the lures of seductives of fashion.

The earth born Titans or the alien spies,
the CBI or CAI, the Axis or the Allies,
the business tycoons or the terror outfits,
can't imagine to sever the ties bilteral betwixt us.
But when the invincible fate, God -designed destiny,
assaults on us, with smiling looks and lips,
we must surrender and push our heads into the noose
and fly above in joy to fall on the lap of eternity.
The bond may be broken by chance or rude folks,
but the memories linger long till our breath stops.
