Inside Of You Poem by Valerie Dohren

Inside Of You

Rating: 5.0

Let me dwell inside of you
For just a little while
Feel your heartbeat softly pulse
and linger in your smile

There to share each breath you take
each movement of your eye
Mingle with your burning blood
each teardrop as you cry

Taking every step with you
whispering through your voice
So together bound in love
O how we would rejoice

You and I could move the world
if we were joined as one
Hold the stars within our hands
and reach out for the sun

Let me dwell inside of you
my spirit there sustain
Be the guardian of my soul
that I might live again
