Insisted Wrong Is The Visit Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Insisted Wrong Is The Visit

Some will do and say,
Words heard that are evil.
In the most wicked of ways.
To believe okay.
And not at all care or be aware,
Of the consequences they will pay.
Continuing to do done.
Until a surprising knock.
Nonstop at their doors.
To have them open not to expect,
An evil they insist...
Has got to have the wrong address.

Yet that evil comes to deliver.
And on a mission not to listen,
To those begging for forgiveness.
Done to do with pathetic pleas.
Or bother to notice,
The magnitude of their crosses.
Worn to believe,
The doing of it...
Will excuse their wicked and evil deeds.

"Uh..ummm.
Are you sure you have the right address?
Excuse me.
No one invited you in.
Where are you going?
Uh...
Evil leaver doer?
Get off my couch.
Put back on your shoes.
And your socks.
Do you hear me? "
