Interior Spaces Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Interior Spaces

Tapping out secret codes from an interior space of imagination, giving a message of faith, asking for
prayers, hoping things will get better, yet they
never do.

Allowing for the intensity of pain running through
me, still, I want to find the quiet place where I
can be silent in my writing, yet shout to the world
that I'm hurting and no one is here for me.

Disquieting senses of needing someone to talk to,
delving deeper into myself, not wanting to ever come
out and live life again.
