It's None Of My Business What Others Think Of Me Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

It's None Of My Business What Others Think Of Me

Listening to others say what they think of me, pretending to be stupid just to belong, not wanting to be left alone and feeling sad.

Looking interiorly at life, being shy, timid, wanting, yet not wanting to be around others, only because of their views on what I believe in and stand for.

Thinking when very young that it was none of my business what others thought about me, ignoring the feelings and emotions they brought to the surface back then.

Learning instead to write them all into poetry, letting everyone know how they should treat people fairly, not judging them.

It's not up to anyone but God to judge each individual, many people reading these poems, sending comments and messages on how they make them feel.

Some saying a certain poem made them realize they were judging people and have vowed to never look at another person in the same way ever again.

Turning their lives around and becoming a better person for it, sorry for having been so insensitive to others in life and their feelings.

A sincere and heartfelt tribute to poets everywhere from those who take the time to read what they've written all over the world.
