Lagi ik Umr!

Lagi ik umr lekin
phir samajh mein aa gai mujh ko
mukhalif samt chalti
her hawa batlaa gai mujh ko
k apni zindagi jeenay ka yeh
behtar qareena he
saharay dhoondna chhorro
saharay baantnaa seekho
keh yeh roshan haqeeqat he
sahara dhoondnay waalay
sada tanha hi rehte hen

Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.

Three times I had the lust to kill,
To clutch a throat so young and fair,
