He opens his eyes,
Sleep disturbed,
Her compounding thoughts
Strike a painful chord,
Flickering images
Held passionately
In his grieving heart…
She turns to side
On her feathered bed,
Uneasy within
Subconscious tumult,
Her anklets chime
She possessively trembles
In responsive abstract…
