Lilac Mist Song Poem by Yuri Starostin

Lilac Mist Song

Lilac mist
The lilac mist floats above us,
The midnight star burn above the tambour.
The conductor do not hurry on, the conductor understand
That I farewell the girl forever.
You look at me in the eyes and shake the arm,
I`l be leaving for a year, maybe for a two,
And may be forever you escorted the friend,
The ring call one time more and I leave.
I remember all words, that then you said,
The lovely movement of the lips, the flight of yours eyelashes.
The ring call one time more and the station noise mute,
The ring call one time more - and the train will depart.
The last farewell from your loved lip fly up,
In yours large eyes - the anxiety and the sadness are.
The ring call one time more and the noise of the station mute.
And the train will depart in the lilac side.
