Lonely Roadways Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Lonely Roadways

Stressing times in life when all that was thought of was conquering another in love's throes, never thinking of a future together.
Failing to exist with only one person, changing attitudes, always taking them astray into lonely roadways, alone every time with no songs to sing.
A dwindling desperation, creeping away in life's ending.
