Love And Life Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Love And Life

The lovers enjoy the cool breeze in life
until the typhoons and hurricanes hit
with the weapons like caste and creed of mischief.
If love they read in books, in life can they be fit?

The government writes off the debts of tycoons
and let them pass time with girls in far off lands.
The poor birds chirping love dream for honeymoons
but alas, they are killed by deadly bands!

The teachers of love scenes advise the youth
not to barter looks and share fancy hymns.
Deaf and dumb they're in that age to know the truth
of lovers' life over which tears and blood brims.

The youths have to breathe ease and live nice in this earth
sans the barriers of caste and creed in their path to mirth.
