howling dogs greet my waking
from long journey of a dream
I watch bats flying by a tree
fighting over fruit they see
drops on my roof, rattles down
bounce off haystock to ground
lucky pig she has food found
across my window I saw her
walking by her bedroom light
dancing as if she's on flight
softness of her dress I feel
wipe my lips, leaving her smell
am awed my sleep bids farewell
