Lullaby In B Minor Poem by Eric Cockrell

Lullaby In B Minor

Rating: 4.8

from a tiny acorn
the oak tree grows,
what a man cant find
a child will know.
only the heart knows the secret
of where the wind blows....
and that's enough for me.

from drops of water
the clouds are formed.
that go together to
make the storm.
from the thunder and the lightning
the rainbow is born....
and that's enough for me.

the feeling that i have for you,
is the simple song i sing.
your mind may not understand...
but your heart knows what i mean.

Finally PH will let me comment on this beautiful piece. This holds so much wisdom, so much hope and love within it, balancing it perfectly on soft wings of song. I love this poem very much.

originally wrote these lyrics back in the seventies... used to sing my daughters to sleep with this one when they were little.
