Majestic Myths Poem by Jerad Castaneda

Majestic Myths

Can't escape reality when your so close to the pain that rises in your chest as the crashing sound of your heart beats,

like it's trying to brake though your chest,

There's no release to the whispers around you. Given up on the ways of what you once though yourself to be.

You'll miss me one day as i will miss you. but for now i am tired of these dreams haunting me.

Tried of fearing the night and what my dreams hold, it's like a sickness and it's an old, old sickness that rots the brain.

Trials and trails keeping blade with the suspicious minds alike keen to hold on to old habits.

never enjoying the folly of the once majestic myths that where of the fairy tales of old.

never fully seeing the corpse of a once full of life body, as if this soul had been taken by surprise! ?

a surprise no i think not they watched it all fall away by their own hand, own might and now they wallow in the regret.

Regret like the venom of a rattlesnake. You only have so long to get the anti-venom before the damage is done.

so breath in and breath out and let it go there's nothing more you can do, nothing, nothing, nothing! ! ! you scream as you feel the stains of yesterdays sins wash over you. as you feel the truth that tears you apart inside to the point it shows on the outside.
