Mind Full Of Memories Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Mind Full Of Memories

Loneliness comes from behind it's hiding place, letting
itself be known.

Grasping onto it's partner sorrow, taking me into decades
of abandonment, pulling me along behind, nothing to say
about it.

Going on it's solo journey, alone, in a mind full of
memories that will not be forgotten, time never lessening
their feelings even as I move forward continually.

Some painful memories linger behind! At unexpected times, they may resurrect to drag us into a feeling of depression and loneliness! But never let the past douse our enthusiasm Rose Ann! A poem short but too poignant!
