wondering why nothing seems right
beyond the tears a reflection
a smile is remembered
amongst this sadness
Promises lay broken
dreams burnt to ash
Like shattered glass
these torn photographs
Mistakes made along the way
things that couldn't be erased
fragmented moments of a tragic life
