Morning Tapestry Poem by Walterrean Salley

Morning Tapestry

Rating: 5.0

Dawn arises
As nature reprises:
Light from the womb of morn!
The dew descends.
The darkness ends.
Another day is born.

Light evolution
With bird's contribution
Of sounding melodious horn.
The flowers awake
Soon after daybreak—
All things to adorn.

The shadows are bold
As they unfold
From objects of which they're born.
And these be the things
That each morning brings.
For these are the jewels of morn.

Beautiful, mornings are the best time of day. Let's appreciate them while we can see them, before they get dark! I can't believe Autumn is here already!

A beautiful description of a lovely morning! ! My poem The Day Break, more or less, weaves the same images!
