My Casket Poem by Lyn Paul

My Casket

Rating: 5.0

Well look at me... looking at you
In my casket, all shiny and new
It's beautiful to have you mourning for me...
But stop right there... as now I am free

You are so special to me, but you need to know
That I must move on... it's time for me to go

So enjoy each others company, Chatting about past days
Remembering life.... Moves in mysterious ways

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Most times we can celebrate death, we must not be afraid of this.
Such a huge variety of caskets.

Wonderful poem, death is the only certainty in life but the spirit endures for eternity.
