What do you find when you go through the gap
To worlds that must be enter’d via sleep
No one can get to you, you’re in so deep
Where life and your subconscious self both wrap
They never cease to brighten up the morn
When days pass slowly they bring me to life
No matter if I wake fearing some knife
For from them my imagination’s born
And each night, battles, I must wrestle through
I’ll tame the Darkness but it doesn’t quit
Now, worrying while I’m lying awake
My mind wishes not what my heart wants true
Still there’s a part, protesting, I admit
I want to sleep, to see these scenes so great.
