~ My Precious Time ~

~ My Precious Time ~
Ms. Nivedita
July 1,2010

Time is best healer
Time is best killer
Time is best sharpener
Time is best blunter
Time repeats
Time completes.

Sorry time
I’ve no time
To give you
My precious time!

Time and tide waits for no man. Procrastination is thief of time. Time is the essence of any contract. Catch time by the forelock. Time alone will set right things. One should be time conscious. Timetable. Measure time. Keep time. Life time achievement. How many times I can tell you about this time? It is your good time that everyone appreciate your wonderful work. (Report) Reply

It is said “ Genius is one percent inspiration and ninetynine percent perspiration” and every genius has turned out by proper utilization of time, as you say, time is the best sharpener. Many talents also just go waste as they don’t fruitfully get utilized in appropriate time frame, as mentioned in your poem, time is the best blunter.Precious thought expressed in lucid and tacit manner. Earlier I used to take classes of time management (though personally I am a poor time manager) , if I had seen this poem then I would have used in my class, acknowledging the poet.

    Each second is unique.

When Time spent, it'll never come back like the spoken word, the thrown arrow and the lost chance. Time is precious, sure, because it's unique and I love such uniqueness. In fact we all live just a long day which finishes by a seperation moment, the moment of DEATH (our common destination) . Nivedita I've enjoyed reading your poem.

It resembles to the poem 'Ring out, wild bells' written by Lord Tennyson. Yes time is precious, and we should move ahead trusting the mighty time without an iota of doubt.
    Very nicely composed.10+++ (Report) Reply

Time I feel you will be pulled back to write upon this theme again and again
reminds of what I was expressing in 'The Mind Killer', 'Karma Of Destinies Spoken', 'Sung Melody Your Life? ' and 'Time Huntress Dancing' etc. I look forward to reading your many future poems of time. (Report) Reply

A very cute and simple verse about Time. But Time is only a notion. The reality is movement, change or becoming is mistaken as Time and Passage of Time. (Report) Reply

kind of funny and meaningful at the same time....telling time 'i have no time for you' n naming it precious! ...reveals your pride, confidence, faith...your value for time and again snap back at time at the end of all 'sorry time i have no time'....a drama of timeless time..an understanding, acceptance..denial... Poem of great understanding...time heals, time kills, et al... a continuum, nonreversal in which many events occur. Thus, time waits for no one. a 10+++ for this poem of great wisdom. (Report) Reply

For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
