Nature's Lessons Poem by Jim Yerman

Nature's Lessons

When I look out on our troubled world and wonder if evil has finally won...
I remember Nature's lessons...like how dark clouds block the sun...

How cold it gets in winter...how hot it is in June...
How those same clouds that block the sun...can cover up the moon.

But winter's cold melds to the warmth of Spring...Summer's heat to the coolness of the Fall
And eventually those dark clouds disappear...and light shines on us all.
