Oh God
I am in a fix
Nailed to a crucifix
With no road ahead
And sheer helplessness
Shedding tears of blood.
But Lord,
You rose from the bed
Of the dead
On wings of glory
Casting away agony
To reinforce faith.
So, let me pin my hope
Of a resurrection
An ascension
Of my sagging spirit
To heaven –
A heavenly flight
In your divine light.
In the thought that after the crucifixion, there is a resurrection, lies the impetus for living! A beautiful analogy between Christ's crucifixion and everyday tribulations of life! On the occasion of your winning the first century in your poetic output, I wish you a very productive poetic career ahead! !
Your hundredth poem speaks high of your poetic stature. There is none to give a verdict to crucify you here. Most of the poets themselves walk up to the crucifixes, lie on them and invite the others to proceed. Have strides ahead too.
Geetha Madam, I am very fortunate to receive your inputs and words of encouragement. I shall certainly strive to keep the ink of poetry flowing. My heart-felt thanks to you for invaluable support.
Heartiest congratulations on your century. I have read many of your poems and are wonderful to read. Thank you for sharing the beautiful poems. Keep on contributing the poems to hit many centuries in the near future. I too agree PH is definitely a good site to explore and understand poems. Many valuable comments do encourage us to write and come with refreshing poems. Once again congrats! God Bless you to come up with more wonderful poems.

A poem of devotion and total submission to HIS Will. What a nice way to affirm the sacred mysteries of fate - Christ Has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again. A powerful piece of poetry. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
