Old Friend

I saw my old friend yesterday,
I was upset cuz she didn't say hey,
We used to be friends times before,
Now I see those times are no more

I don't know why she acts so rude,
She always seems to be in a bad attitude,
We said that we would always be friends,
Now that promise has began to end

That's why I call her my old friend today,
And I'll say that tomorrow,
Cuz nothing will change

I love to see the old heath's withered brake
Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,
While the old heron from the lonely lake
Starts slow and flaps its melancholy wing,
