Open Your Eyes Poem by Devon Tremblay

Open Your Eyes

Oh, This is old
My heart is getting cold
Our feet will be numb
This joy we must succumb

Oh yeah, what will be left
You paid my debt

Open your eyes, I see a new beginning
Open your mind, I see a new light
Open your soul to find out who you really are...

A prayer to release
An age-old disease
Will bring us to our knees
But only you will set us free

No we will we not forget
No we will not dwell on regret
Shame is failure
Not a reliever

Open your eyes, I see a new beginning
Open your mind, I see a new light
Open your soul to find out who you really are...

Oh, do not stray
For you will become afraid
Look past your fear
This is the final year for your misery

I've lost it I miss it
I want it I need it
I can't see
I can't breathe
I won't be
