Outside, It Is A Very Cold Valentine’s Day Poem by Hebert Logerie

Outside, It Is A Very Cold Valentine’s Day

It is extremely cold outside on this Valentine’s Day;
The squirrels are running, jumping and playing in the snow.
The birds are perched on the branches, hoping for a sunny day.
Old man winter is not cooperating this year: no rainbow,
No warm temperature, no smile and no special holiday.

However, inside our home, things are very different.
Darling, the house is warm, inviting and well decorated.
We’re eating healthy food and drinking wine, under a small tent,
That I built in the den, so we can play like we were newlywed:
The atmosphere is paradise like and genuinely clement.

You and I are having a lot fun, we are playing like children.
We are laughing, giggling and kissing; we are enjoying our time.
Valentine’s Day is a special moment made, for you and me, in heaven.
We are listening to romantic melodies. For a single dime,
I offered to sell my heart to you. I am cheap; this is a lot of fun.
