Pathological Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Pathological

Representing,
An increasingly witnessed mentality.
Neurologically abnormal.
Yet kept protected although severed,
From a normality...
Many knew to had once believed.

Today,
Even the ones displaying their dysfunctions...
Stop immediately to notice,
What they hear is wrong.
Distorted.
And does not in their minds belong.

Habitually repeated,
Are lies told to tell.
Spoken by one given the attention.
Without pursuit of the truth.
Where in one's head this does not dwell.
Or has known it to respect.

Successful,
Has been this pathological infestation.
Spreading a mental devastation to accept.
Too obvious those remaining conscious of it,
Have become aware of a sickness...
Permitted to declare reality a myth!
