Proud To Be Lazy... Poem by Akanksha Bhatt

Proud To Be Lazy...

Rating: 3.9

My mom says that
I'm too lazy,
No matter if the weather is
or is not hazy..
I don't know why people think
that being lazy is very bad,
But for me, to be that,
I think I'm very glad...

A lazy one can do
a hard job in an easy way...
It doesn't matter at all,
Before that he would stay..

I don't care if people call me crazy,
just because I am very PROUD TO BE LAZY....! ! !

It takes a word that has an otherwise negative connotation and allows it to prove that negative words do not have to effect the person. The speaker knows who she is regardless of being called lazy by mom. The speaker is certain that she is the opposite of what is negative about the word Lazy. A single word does not define who we are only we do and we might define ourselves with several words of different meanings linked to deeper feelings within ourselves. Laziness in this case serves a purpose, it gets something done in an easy way the idea is to relax in it, take it easy inside of what's getting done and let things flow as easy as the breeze.
