Puddles Of Lonely Frustration Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Puddles Of Lonely Frustration

Tears of love running down avenues of this heart, not noticing
anything except the pain of heartbreak cracking in midnight
hours.

Once upon a time being whole, now falling upon mattresses of
time no longer filled with desires or passion, all have been
laid to rest in melody's rhythms.

No longer lasting on this earth, for they have disappeared in
the aftermath of a total meltdown, love having lost it's luster,
no longer shining with joy or laughter.

Instead lying in puddles of lonely frustration, unable to hold
onto love or be loved for death has taken my heart along with
you beyond this life.
