Destiny of a coal
Burnt in the air at last
So was I, just a moving dust
And times layered me underground
I'll be another coal buried in the sand
Lost to be found, deep than anyone knows
Along the pressure gained on me inside
Unearth me in darkness as my color
I was a big coal, still a coal
But just a little one now
Just a little one
Ordinary coal
Dark, fragile to the fire
So my spirit i had inside
Solitary as no transparency
Light must be wondering on me
As i wondering how bright it would be
Not a second it can go through my body
Not a chance i let it in, because in fire only i can shine
Will i be shined without burning at last... will I be shined
When pressure is the king
My heart is nothing but to follow
Each day comes adding life more heavier
Adding same to the pressure, more to endure
Weighing life when living under the mountain
My fragile coal body would be broken
Won't I'll be fixed like a written story
Life between chance and something risky
By little strength left i still have
My quantum of spirit has sown me
From a little pieces to big one
For any space i can grow
And the change i hold
Transitory of a coal
People hearts
Their emotions found new me
With desire stronger than mountain
As they do claim me to be in hands
I wasn't so great until the spirit shakes
It is the moment when dark me to turn clear
It is whenever i no longer keep afraid of light
I let light shine through me and it persuades their eyes
I said I own my coal life, now they say you're my diamond lust
Worth the risk i have taken to give a try once
Not for them i am for, to myself i am for
Because now i am not only a coal to burn
Not because the glittering shine around
But the beauty spirit that I own
Coal to diamond
Today i am shining again
I shine not because of burning
I now glittering because of love light
No longer my bed is under chimney
My honor is on the skin
Still to one who displays me
Don't wear me because of the shine that fool eyes
Because it won't give my value as i could be
Consume me because of who i am
For you will gain spirit when you fall
To remind i was a coal before diamond
My spirit to lay on you
Gleaming light in your eyes
Is how the shines steal your heart
But glass cut like diamond cant be me
Millions years I was a coal
So when I shine I know light secret better
But i wont with them in the fire
I not easily broken and diamond wont melt
Cut me still, cut me more
Scars me on the edges of my skin
I bleed with spectrum light amazement
Multifaceted shine embraced for more beautiful
Own me
Not for a shine
Stare me, your spirit to find
Like coal to diamond
only diamond cut diamond ....gee, i'm not so smart! i thought there was a way diamonds could be cut using metal tools, but i find no evidence of that. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Last chance for life though live in risky [ live in RISK? LIFE IS risky? ...... as with much of your writing, i have some trouble following it easily. therefore i don't look at your poems very much (it has been a long time) . ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Cut me still, cut me more Scars me on the edges of my skin I bleed with spectrum light amazement Multifaceted shine embraced for more beautiful i especially enjoyed reading these four lines. but perhaps Scar instead of Scars, and for more BEAUTY instead of for more beautiful would be better. it seems you have plenty of readers without me, but thanks for sharing. and thanks for the poet notes. :) bri happy new year.
