Why can't you say the truth?
Why can't you just tell me what's really inside?
Why let it all be implied?
Will you ever once again stand by my side?
Don't you know how this kills me inside?

Is that really hatred I see in your eyes?
Or is that one of your lies?
Is this rejection?
Or hidden affection?
Will you ever look at me without hesitation?
Be yourself with no reservation?

When will I hear your laughter again?
Be held in your arms in the mist of pain?
Do you even care?
Or was it all just a sale?

Will you ever answer me?
Stop these questions buzzing in my head?
Tell me your thoughts? ...
As you erase me from the depths of your heart?
