Sometimes I wish...
That you could look at me
Without wanting to look away,
That you could stop acting like all between us was in vain.

Sometimes I wish...
That I could know you'd always be here
To hold on to me when I'm surrounded by fear.
That you could stand by my side,
With nothing to hide...

Sometimes I wish...
That you could stop hiding behind a heartless mask
Please tell me your heart isn't really a cruel black.
That the dislike I see in your eyes,
Is not pure hatred hiding inside...

Sometimes I wish...
That you could look at me
Without me feeling rejection.
That you could actually show a little affection...

Sometimes I wish...
That you could stop acting like you've already forgotten.
Your look is like a heavy mist
Please don't tell me you have forgotten...

Sometimes I wish...
That you could look at me
And tell me how you feel.
That you could look me in the eyes,
And see me for what is really inside...
