Quiet Desert Journey Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Quiet Desert Journey

Reaching into the atmosphere, capturing the colors of sound as
they rise and fall right before our eyes, a splendid and color-
ful concert, everyone enjoying rhythms and motions of sound.

Gliding on air currents of this arid desert night, being enter-
tained and taken on a quiet journey of the heart and soul, coming
alive with an interior energy.

Building a wall into the sky, one that mind and intellect can con-
tinue feeling emotions and the liveliness of an enthusiastic crowd
listening and wandering around in their minds.

It's like going and traveling on parachutes as they fall from the
sky above, beating of the drums incessantly into our minds and
beings.

Crowding out turmoil and sorrow, stress now unwinding into the
starlit night after having given us a delightful experience
throughout musical rhythms in an imaginational reality.

Holding delicately onto tails of falling stars as they are coming
from instruments being held by musicians, galloping and captivat-
ing this poetical mind, not wanting to let go, just keep riding
air currents into the universe.
