Remembering What We Used To Know Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Remembering What We Used To Know

Rating: 5.0

Living life as we grow older, remembering what we used to know,
but forgetting what has happened moments ago.

How does this happen when only yesterday we were able to live
and know everything we learned in the last few years.

A mellow feeling hanging above the one you have loved and lived
with throughout your lives.

Hearts aging in the twilight of our sunsetical shore where once
we played and lived so happily, now not always remembering.

A touching and most poignantly well written and beautifully presented poem. A poem that reaches out and touches each reader. The way an enchanting and moving poem should. Five shining and most deserved stars bestowed, I thank you Roseann for writing a touch of poetry class. Take care and all the loved ones around you
