Rhythms Of Sadness Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Rhythms Of Sadness

Sounds of jazz careening into a nighttime atmosphere, cooing words of love and passion that are falling on deaf ears, no one listening to a heart that needs to cry tonight.

Wanting to be reminded of joy and happiness entering life, never wanting to hear rhythms of sadness for they tear apart
the fabric of life.

Tears falling straight from a heart that has been broken too many times by another, now lying in an emptiness of loneliness with no one.
