My God!
one may know You for any other reason,
but I know you for your kind and lovely returns,
yes, I'm a selfish man!
Can't you favor me once more
and put the clock back?
Can you return that moment of life
that I lost in love.
Take back the decades of all centuries
and with all the gains of time.
Can you put me back in another paradise,
with my Eve and your forbidden fruit?
But this time don't separate us,
I am now lazy and old!
One more thing,
this time, please throw us in another world,
where there is no Satan.
Now we very well know the forbidden fruit,
and as such,
we don't need a Satan.
To be placed once more in the paradise with your Eve and no Satan to tempt you would be wonderful.... Enjoyed this lovely poem! A 10
Beautiful lines... please throw us in another world, where there is no Satan. I just wonder will there be any world without Satan. Interesting write. Loved reading it.
I have read The Satan by the great philosopher Khalil Gibran and your Satan is no lesser than that, The modern Satan is not only trying to deceive all of us by keeping busy in useless things but also creating hatred and provoking for war and competition.
A very heartfelt prayer bridging the gap between a mythological past and the tiresome present. The prayer seeks longevity of love but without the role of Satan any more. Thanks a lot. Can you put me back in another paradise, with my Eve and your forbidden fruit?

How lovely would it be to not only turn back time, but live in a world free from evil
