Schmoozing With The Concept Of An Eternal Life Poem by Ted Sheridan

Schmoozing With The Concept Of An Eternal Life

Rating: 3.5

The mother spoke to her son
and said “Pray that you don’t grow up
to be just like your father.”
The father spoke to his son
and said “Pray that you don’t grow up
to be just like your mother.”
God spoke to the boy and said “Pray in Jesus name,
that you grow up to be more like me.”
Satan spoke to the boy and said “The world is bilingual;
it speaks with a forked tongue spewing both truth and lies.”
Extremely confused, the boy looked to the sky and cried,
“Is this all the proof any of you have that dinosaurs are extinct? ”

Apropos nothing in particular except the last line - it definitely proves dinosaurs are NOT extinct, and never will be... Rgds, Ivan

Funny idea...the child being pulled in all directions...and all he asked was the simple question....for which there doesn't seem to be an answer anyhow! ! Great write, Teddy Bear!
