Searching Echoes Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Searching Echoes

Traveling around, head in the clouds, mind reaching
for the stars above, wanting something different
than all the times before in corridors of a lifetime.

Noticing how echoes call out my name, searching for the
person I used to be, but am no more, loneliness, empti-
ness and a hollow feeling left in tis hollow heart.

Wanting to see and feel the fullness of an intense
melody that can be composed through a soul so lonely
and hoping an interior spirit to revive itself.
