Shadowy Essence Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Shadowy Essence

On a rooftop across the street, shadows are lying stretched out,
relaxing in mid morning, seemingly not interested in moving a-
bout or playing.

Just being there, absorbing heat of the sun upon their shadowy
backs, their essence coming from two palm trees standing between
the sun and them, creating their shadowy depths of reality.
