Spell-Bound Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Spell-Bound

Silence screaming out so loud, shaking foundations
of my soul, holding me spell-bound in the doorway
of imagination.

Holding my breath in puffs of intellect, as I open
my mind ever wider to soar with the eagles, instead
of being floored with the turtles.
