Surprise For A Mom Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Mom surprised by her son, who was hiding in a back room, she
hasn't seen him for some time now!

Band leader calling her up front for a surprise that's been
kept secret.

Now in front of the stage, wondering what it is, then out
comes her son!

They are then caught up in a loving hug, so happy to be to-
gether again, even if it isn't for long.

They will share another Christmas before he has to go back to
wherever the Army is going to send him this time.

Sending him in order to uphold his oath to protect everyone,
along with his mother.

So proud to be part of this joyous and happy moment that
brought a tear to this poet's eyes and smiles to Mom and Son,
such a great blessing for them both!
