Darkness dislodges with
.....................sweeping of dawn.
Crystals of clarity form
...................... without sound.
Night now is bound and captured
............................ by morning.
Blanket of stillness folds
.............................heavily round.
Trees stand translucent
...................in mantles of mist.
Daylight reshapes every shadow
.......................... of night.
Facing fresh air earth now stirs
........................ to be kissed
And life wakes, sparkles
................ and takes to new flight.
Lovely! I lived in Cornwall and know how inspiring it's beauty is. My memories came gushing back as i read this piece. Thanks for stirring my memories.
Very poetic for the break of day, Fay.. Cornwalls beauty gets you that way :) Andy 10
After reading your poem, i wish every morning to be as poetical as this poem, fay!
Evocative and distinctive, this tribute to dawn is delightfully uncluttered. I particularly liked: 'Night now is bound and captured ............................ by morning.' and 'Daylight reshapes every shadow .......................... of night.' An inspiring poem. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
up up and away even the birds can fly as high as Fay. I love the poem.. n the form.

Out of the darkness, the wee hours of morn a glimmer of grey heralds a new dawn slowly nights cloak is fading away the shadows of night, have now come out to play
This is a glorious mood piece, Fay. Your phrasing and imagery is superb and captures the moment so well.
