That Day When

That day when
You will stop recording albums entitled 'LIFE IS HARD' and become positive for a change then you shall walk into an office and get a job-trust me.

That day when
You will stop for a minute to think as an individual not as a group then your ignorance will evaporate into the thin air

That day when
You will grow up not just physically but also mentally then you will be mighty 'He who conquers himself is mighty'

That day when
Spouses will stay true to each other. When lies will be a thing of the past. Then bachelors will marry and judges will have long holidays

That day when
You will just decide to live without a bribe. You will obviously go hungry but for a worthy course

That Day When
A whiteboy will not see a black person as some monkey from Africa, then blood will turn into green so we will all be equal.

That day when
An African will remember that time is not relational but just worth cherishing, then watches will give humongous sigh and obviously deadlines will be met.

That day...
I will stop writing to celebrate, eate and make merry for this new day.
For now, I have set my hour glass awaiting THAT DAY

Poem of the Day

poet Alfred Edward Housman

The time you won your town the race
We chaired you through the market-place;
Man and boy stood cheering by,
And home we brought you shoulder-high.
