The Color Of Crazy Poem by Not The Pilot

The Color Of Crazy

Rating: 5.0

blank stares, because i'm playing reruns in my head
these shows, have become nightmares, remembering things i said
what's wrong with me? i left you crying to yourself
even though i knew how you felt
that's not what i want to do to you
these aren't the times i want to remember
i want to remember everything else
because memories like these, hurt like hell

i'll always remember you as the girl in the seat next to me and
the girl that turns away when i lean in, with a smile on your face
the girl that's crazy, yeah, God, your crazy

the burning in my stomach, call it desire, for you
i'm perfecting thin-line walking, because i can't coordinate words
the feeling it leaves, well, it hurts
i want to remember everything else
because memories like these, hurt like hell

i'll always remember you as a smile seen a mile away
eyes that say never leave me
a voice so soft and delicate, that butterflies fly

i'll always remember you as the girl in my arms
on that cold night, teared up when i said i love you
the most beautiful girl, i'll always love you

i am just a fool, i am just a fool, i am just a fool,
that's lost in you

Absolutely gorgeous, inspiring work. It captures your feeling well and displays it on a nicely written pedestal or words.
