The Conversation

One stormy night..
Darkness surrounds so might..
Suddenly, a great thunder..
I asked,
'My only God, how long this storm will last? '
-'A second.'

A second! A second! ..It took my life..my everything...
A second? !

I asked,
'Dearest God, do we have the same seconds..the same time? '
'Then how long it is then? '
-'A million years.'

A million years. A million years.
My Precious God of mercy.
This storm has drowned me..my family..my neighbors..
You have the power..the will..
Why my Lord..Why?

I asked
'God, you have few words. How long will you stay tonight? '
-'My child..I will stay..for years to come..I just had smiled on you.

(Oh! My Lord God..I was really blessed..For all these trials I have, I know it's for my better..I know you'll not give me that I could not overcome..)

Dear Readers, God smiles in different ways...

It is so wonderful to read a poem of conversation between Min and God, for people won't believe, but It is true that we can talk with God. Great instance! (Report) Reply

I suddenly realized how beautiful your poem is, and it must be written from real tragedy, may your sunshine after the storm be bright (Report) Reply

Mia you are right. During trying circumstances only we pray; when God stays nearer to us.......Yes God is always merciful; only we have to realize. (Report) Reply

Truly Min, I've had conversations with God but I have never been this creative to jot it down. You continuously amaze. I love the way you look at life differently....and in this poem, the way God speaks to the rest of us when we are in dire need of the strong reassurence.10 is my rating! (Report) Reply

    GOD always accompany us,
When you're afraid, even you're happy,
But sometimes GOD beaten by our felt,
We forget for what GOD bring to us,
That we couldn't remember that GOD it's more close,
Close than our vein, , ,

This poem is so cool, I like it so much, , ,

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
