The Glory Of Christmas Poem by Joyce Ervin

The Glory Of Christmas

Rating: 5.0

Great is the mystery of Godliness
The night God came down

The angels Sung a glorious song
Glory to God in the highest
hallelujah hallelujah
It's the night God came down

shepherds were amazed that night
It must have been a glorious sight
The mighty king the prince of Peace
For It was the night God came down

Behold what love the Father has
Sending his son wrapped in rags
Laying in a crib to fulfill God's sovereign mystery
He was Born just a baby To save all humanity
For This is the night God came down

He sent his Son in our mist
Only to die for sins we commit
Leaving his throne in the sky
He came low to lift us high
Lets celebrate this Christmas Day
Remembering our savior's birth
And the humble means which he entered the earth
Rejoice and celebrate this Christmas Day
for the awesome night God came do

Beautiful piece of poetry that captures, and at the same time commemorates the birth of our Saviour - Jesus Christ, well articulated and elegantly penned with spiritual insight. Thanks for sharing Joyce. Please read my poem COLOSSAL MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE (ie the execution of Christ) .
