The Governments Corrupt Life Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

The Governments Corrupt Life

The rulers at the States and Centre
hobnob with industrialists and tycoons from abroad,
bargain to let them to do wonders here,
when the farmers commit suicides,
suffering in acute power outage.
The alms in the form of some billions,
spent for lobbying to set foot in India,
wet the palms of the voters during the polls.

The welfare governments should create jobs
for the people to work and live descent
and help them make records and feats in their skills.
If the governments make temporary appointments
and give consolidated, one -third of the salary to youths,
the private concerns and colleges do the same with guts,
though they collect hefty amount as donations.
The unemployed so gravitate to brothels
or are left homeless as gravid.
The parties ought not to accumulate funds
by corroding the life of common people.
