The King Saw Before Him...A.S. Pushkin Poem by Yuri Starostin

The King Saw Before Him...A.S. Pushkin

The king saw before him...
Tales of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin

Unfinished tales, sketches

The king saw before him
A table with a chess Board.

The army soldiers from a wax
Here on the chessboard
He put in a guard range.
Menacingly the pupae sit,
Akimbo on the horses,
In the cotton gloves,
In the feathered knobs,
With the broadswords on the shoulders.

Here's the trough in front of him
He ordered to pour a water;
To float he put on it
The darkness of a fine ships,
A barges, a catarog and a boats
Of the walnut shells -
And the transparent wind catch
As a batterfly wings,
And a rope...
