The Sea Wraith Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The Sea Wraith

The sea-wraithits head
Pops
Out of the waters
By Nix Mangiari steps.

Dark, night, and least
Of stars.
No moon hidden by
Dense clouds
Frowning.

Raises his head and
Up to the breast
Arises from the waters
As a spring

‘Behold the solitude
Of Nix Mangiari steps
The few inhabitants
Who in the environs
sleep and dream.'
Down again slid
The sea-wraith to its
Domains.
