The Sounds Of Silence And My Prayer. Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

The Sounds Of Silence And My Prayer.

Rating: 4.0

Kneeling in the sands of Sinai
i cried out loud to my God.
Enjoying the sounds of silence
angles of heaven were around me.

The lifted hands in the midnight
are seen by my God i am sure.

My God is the God of all religions.
My God is the God beyond all religions.

I prayed: God unite all religions.
Help us not to be fanatics.
We kill others for the truth
that we hold to be true.

Truth is beyond all human conceptions.
God, you alone are the truth, the One God.

At night, immersed in meditation
i cry and call you, come to me,
give me a divine experience

(recalling an experience in the desert of Sinai)

As long as a religion is an ethics for the entire humanity, it's a religion of God.

Beautiful with heartfelt cry for divine mercy. God is beyond all religions and beyond all truths that we hold to be true. We need people like you to show the way and pray for all Dr. Anthony.
