Roller coaster ride on
The one standing taller
Will be exciting he said
And I followed my friend.
Height was the only measure
To test for the eligible
Age was no bar, but said
Don't ride with heart trouble.
Quietly the ride started
Mounting to a great height
Down it went twisting, looping
And taking a helical turn.
Clutched to the pressing bar
The body took all the twists
World turned upside down
Bones rattled in the muscles.
The best part of the ride's
To arrive at where we started
And it's exciting to review
Twists and turns of the structure.
Young was I at heart, I rode
But the ride showed my age
It was only a soar back
Don't know if I'll ride again.
Wow. Wonderful poem. Beautiful roller coaster ride filled with fun, but left with little back soar. Loved the way you presented it. Thanks for sharing.
It appears an adventure at this age! but a thrilling enjoyment. A nice finish to show the uncertainty.
